Working with each other, for each other. Employee-owned.
Our people are our most important asset – and that’s why we are delighted to announce that Clipper is now an employee-owned business. This means that the company’s employees have been put at the centre of decision-making, helping us drive success long into the future. This is what it means to work at Clipper – working with each other, for each other, for everyone’s success.
We are a people-focused business and our success over the years is undoubtedly down to our employees. Making our company employee-owned seemed like a natural progression, ensuring that the company's future remains firmly in the hands of those who drive the business forward every day and share our values and vision of the future.
Being an employee-owned business allows us to ensure our long-term legacy by maintaining the integrity, continuity, and sustainability of the business.
Employee ownership means all of us working even closer together and moving in one direction. Giving our employees an interest in our company will positively affect our ability to grow, and build on our already great culture, making us even more collaborative and inclusive.
We will collectively be responsible for our continued growth and success and it’s in all our hands to create a truly sustainable legacy business - a legacy where there is a clear direction, and a sense of purpose, where we continue to support our clients and more importantly, a business where our staff continue to grow and develop.
This new, exciting chapter of Clipper can ensure that our customer service remains central to our vision whilst protecting our work community, values and culture by putting our own people in control. We can give people careers at all levels where they can keep learning and developing, creating a meaningful social impact and doing more good along the way.
What do we do?
We’ve established an Employee Committee who represent all beneficiaries.
We create a sense of security through involvement.
Encourage employees to ask questions, as beneficiaries.
We incentivise the financial benefits of ownership.
Create a climate that generates loyalty and commitment.
Give everyone influence by creating an environment where all views are listened to.
Create and maintaining a culture of fairness and equality.
Give credit for contribution each of us makes.
Over the coming years, we’ll start to live and breathe the employee ownership culture, slowly transitioning the current management structure. We see this as a natural continuation of the work that we have begun, building a company that works for its employees. And with so much existing and emerging talent amongst us, we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
